Sarah and Michael were happily married with 2 children.
They had worked hard and were now financially comfortable.
Michael’s father, Sid, had died recently. Sid had remarried
a few years previously. Michael
received virtually no inheritance as it all passed to his new step
mother. Michael was determined to ensure their children received
at least part of the family wealth should something happen to one
of them. They both felt the same.
It
wasn’t that they didn’t love each other or trust each
other. They did – absolutely. They just wanted some certainty
of outcome for their children.
